Nathan Ruf is a graduate from Southern Oregon University (SOU), receiving his bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. He has over eleven years of land surveying experience which includes involvement in both field and office aspects of the profession. From initial contact with potential clients, project setup/coordination, data collection, processing and drafting, he can bring a project from start to finish.

Nathan has extensive land-use planning experience including the preparation and representation of applications for annexation, zone changes, subdivisions, property line adjustments and urbanization plans. He is also a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), a certification recognized both nationally and by the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM). With this certification he joins a highly qualified group of individuals seeking to build partnerships across state agencies, local governments, municipalities, organizations, and agencies that share the goal of advancing sound floodplain management.

His experience, skills and professionalism make him a qualified member and an integral asset to the NSI team. Nathan is also a member of the Professional Land Surveyors of Oregon (PLSO) and maintains a FAA sUAS Remote Pilot Certificate.
